DIY yogurt jelly! :)

My brother got the wrong yogurt from the fridge and he got sad and said "I thought there's a jelly inside." and me being the artsy fartsy Ate felt bad about it too and decided to make him my very own yogurt with jelly. haha It's very easy to do and you can just play with it.

Good thing we have jellyace, so I just actually got some from hawaiian fresh fruit jelly and mix it on his yogurt! and woot woot, I now have my DIY fruit jelly yogurt. Awesome isn't it? :p

My breaky!

I am trying to eat healthy food recently cause I am making myself ready together with my body and my mind for a Master Cleanse diet. It's a liquid diet that compose of lemon, water, cayenne pepper and grade B maple syrup, I will blog about it soon.

But anyways, here's what I ate this morning. I made my very own potato chips, together with yogurt. :)
I just peeled two normal potatoes at home that I cut into thin slices and cooked in vegie oil.

Home made potato chips are an incredible way to cut calories and still feel like you are 'indulging' a bit. Also I am trying to stay away from bread and just eat nothing but wheat bread/loafs everyday. So I just spread some Italian pizza sauce over these two wheat bread and put on some cheese and place it in the oven and pair with some meat loafs(which is not so healthy). lol

Easy bread rolls with Olive oil. :)

recipesI baked another bread out of my pandesal dough and I don't know what to name it. But anyways it's very easy to do and au so delis! :)

All you will need is a sausage, tomato, pizza sauce, garlic, onion and hard boiled eggs. and most especially, Olive oil. I looove olive oil and the aroma it brings on the food or salad.

I just first rubbed the cut garlic on dough, just to get the flavor. Like what they do in Bruschetta (which I will do next). Then I spread pizza sauce, put the sausage, tomato, sliced eggs, and some cut onions. Then I roll it and deep in Olive oil with pepper and put some Honey Mustard on top. :)

Then I coated some butter on my cupcake pan before putting the rolls.

and that's it! I love how it turned out. Its yummy and very easy to make.

Try it yourself bread lovers out there like me!

P.S

Which tea are you?

currently loving this Blueberry tea at home, especially when it's cold. xxx

Deli a la Pande!

I baked Pandesal (bread of salt) today for merienda and I am incredibly happy with the result. It was good actually. So yay for me! :) Here's the recipe for my yummy pandesal.

Ingredients:
1 tbsp of rapid rise yeast
1 raw egg
2 cups all purpose flour
2 cups bread flour
1/2 cup white sugar
5 tbsp butter, melted
1 tsp baking powder
1 1/4 cup fresh milk, warm
1 tsp salt
1 cup bread crumbs
1 tbsp cooking oil

Steps:
1. You need to Combine the yeast, sugar, and warm milk and stir until the yeast and sugar are fully dissolved. Leave it for 15-20mins until you see the bubbles.

2. In the mixing bowl, combine the dry ingrdients starting with the flour then the sugar, salt, and baking powder . Mix well by stirring.

Its important that the mixture of yeast and milk should look like this.

3. Add the egg, butter, cooking oil, and yeast-sugar-milk mixture in the mixing bowl with the dry ingredients then mix again until a dough is formed.

4. Use your clean hands to effectively mix the ingredients. In a flat surface, knead the dough until the texture becomes fine.

5. Mold the dough until shape becomes round then put back in the mixing bowl. Cover the mixing bowl with damp cloth and let the dough rise for at least 1 hour.
I left mine for 2hrs thats why it's this fluffy! :)

6. Put the dough back to the flat surface and divide into 4 equal parts using a dough slicer.

7. Roll each part until it forms a cylindrical shape Slice the cylindrical dough diagonally (These slices will be the individual pieces of the pandesal) Roll the sliced dough over the breadcrumbs and place in a baking tray with wax paper (makes sure to provide gaps between doughs as this will rise later on)

8. Leave the sliced dough with breadcrumbs in the tray for another 10 to 15 minutes to rise.

9. Pre heat the oven at 375 degrees fahrenheit for 10 minutes.

10. Put the tray with dough in the oven and bake for 15 minutes Turn off the oven and remove the freshly baked pandesal. Serve hot.

Share and enjoy! :)

Thanks Jess for giving a name to my pandesal. haha

My outfit :)
It was raining that hard yesterday.. and I just love the rain cause it lulls me to sleep. Good thing, they have put magazines inside their car to keep us awake. lol

Don't you just love these gorge girls?

and ofcourse, vanity time! haha self portrait to the maximum level.

anyways, it was fun. and tiring and we had a spontaneous merienda at Mexicali, one of my fave mexican resto. Jess was so funny cause it was her first time to try Mexicali's quesadilla and she was like "fuck this is so good. omg!" with her every bite. haha

One thing you should know about me is I am obsessed with Mexican food! I loooove burrito like cray! My boyfriend actually gets iffy about it whenever I would ask to eat at AGAVE (eastwood) or whenever I'm bugging him to give birth to a burrito everytime I crave for it. haha But my boy is the sweetest and he always ace in the effort department and just give me whatever I want and whenever I want it. Oh welps. He just couldn't let me down y'know. I'm such a spoiled girlfriend. haha I guess that's what you get from being a faithful one. :)

My poor plate.
As you can see, yes! I am that takaw. haha I don't eat onions but for the sake of burrito, I can eat them. :p DANNNG! I am craving just now.

P.S
School is just around the corner.

Random Smorgasbord on Tuesday afternoon :)

My friend Jessica called me while I was still sleeping and asked me if I wanted to hang-out with her. I thought it was too early for that but when I checked the clock it was already 11:30am. haha! Lazy me.. so I said why not?! :)

We went frolicking around high street and went for some Jamba Juice! It was my second time to try Jamba and I wish we have Jamba back in Ortigas so it's nearer in my house. But nonetheless, going to the fort for Jamba will always be worth it.

and Jessica treated me some sweets too from Cupcakes by Sonja. I always refuse to buy cupcakes because I know I can always make one.. but I have to say, this red velvet cupcake by sonja has been one of the greatest I have ever tried! :)

 gorgeous boxes! :)

We also saw this new beautiful shop called EVER NEW (from melbourne) and I must say we just went gaga over their fine girly dresses and we promised to ourselves to shop there next time! I can't wait.. and the prices were kind of pricey but they also have cheap finds ofcourse! you guys should pay them a visit. :)
Me and my awkward pose. haha

I just realized while walking through Boni high that I have tried almost every restaurants there! haha and it also made me realize I needed to diet!! lol but nonetheless, I can honestly say I've been living the best life these days and I just can't wait till friday and get my tan! yay.

STACY'S (shabby chic restaurant)

(A very late post.)

I just thought of making a review about this little cute shabby chic restaurant called STACY'S.

I just looove the pastel-colored interior, the cozy feeling and the chic vintage theme. ♥

SO  INLOVE WITH THE PINK FRIDGE!

nice and affordable foodies! x
The food was kinda like Banapple. Especially the one that I ordered, the homebaked chicken parmesan. But nonetheless, it was good! and the desserts were divine!! xxx

Free butter popcorn with pretzels and mallows!

It was my first time to visit here and I didn't actually know that there's a good restaurant like this in Capitol. It was Rose and kat's idea to visit here and we certainly had a really good time! :)
With the two lovely ladies :)
with rose and my king.
I love this restaurant and I definitely must visit here again soon ! plus I need to know where they bought the pink fridge! hehe :p
